President's Message

To achieve excellence, it is essential that we have a strategic plan that builds on the legacy of success of the faculty, students and staff. Higher education has been and will continue to go through extraordinary changes. The opportunities presented by expanding markets and the challenges of an environment characterized by increasing competitors, require that we successfully position Al Zaytoonah University to build a sustainable competitive advantage. Our vision is to be a national leader in higher education, manifesting excellence, embracing diversity, inspiring confidence, and engaging society. The university aspires to national recognition of excellence and performance in scholarship through teaching, research and service. To achieve its vision, Al Zaytoonah University emphasizes strategic planning, performance assessment, and quality assurance. We are proud of our accomplishments, and are well aware of the goals yet to be achieved. Strategic planning and assessment focus our efforts to ensure that we will fulfil our mission and achieve our vision.
I am pleased to present the strategic plan for Al Zaytoonah University, which was designed and supported by our Strategic Plan Project Team. The role of the President’s office was to guide and support the efforts of quality enhancement and assurance at Al Zaytoonah University.
One of the great strengths of AL Zaytoonah University is its faculty, students and staff, which are committed to excellence in education and research. Another strength of the university is its location in Amman, Jordan, which has become an educational centre for the Middle Eastern region. The University has also risen to national distinction due to the excellent results in the government achievement exam, in all fields of study. Al Zaytoonah University must continue to strengthen its institution and research accomplishments in order to meet the specific needs of its critical partners – its stakeholders.
The strategic plan is focused on quality of faculty, students and programs. The result will be to elevate the stature of Al Zaytoonah University, sustain its ongoing educational quality, and enhance its societal influence.
