INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING YOUR FINAL MANUSCRIPT 

(Camera-Ready)

1.   Your paper must be carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling.  

2.  Maximum length is ten pages.

3.  To format your manuscript correctly, see the Page Layout Guideline for the A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm 

     or  8.27” x 11.69”) paper size.  

 

4.   Manuscripts should be single-spaced, with a double space between paragraphs and a five-space 

     paragraph indentation. Allow an extra half space above a line containing superscripts and below a 

     line containing subscripts.  

 

5.  Write in  PENCIL (not ink) on the back of each page: 

     (a) Your paper number (which is indicated in your acceptance  letter). 

     (b) The current page number, e.g. 1/5.  

No marks are to be put on the front side of the original pages; do not put page numbers on your paper. DO NOT FOLD OR STAPLE your manuscript.

6.   The paper should include:  

     (a) Title (10 words maximum length)  

     (b) Author’s name's, affiliation, and present address.  

     (c) Abstract (maximum 200 words)  

     (d) Key words (maximum of six)

     (e) An introduction, clearly explaining the nature of the problem, previous work, purpose, and 

          contribution of paper.

      (f) A conclusion section, which should clearly indicate advantages, limitations, and possible

           applications.  

      (g) A reference section (see below)  

 

7.  References should be indicated in the text by a number in square brackets, e.g. [1]. References 

     should be numbered in the order cited in the manuscript. The correct format for references is:

 

 

     Papers:  author, title, journal (in italics), volume and issue number, year, inclusive pages.

                       Example: [1] T. C. Hsia, Simple Robust Schemes for Space Control of Robot Manipulators,

                                      Int. J. of Robotics and Automation, 9(4), 1994, pp. 167-174.  

 

 Books: author, title (in italics), location of publisher, publisher, year. 

 Example: [2] M. Keystone and W. R. Fried, Avionics Navigation Systems, New York, NY: John 

                Wiley & Sons Inc., 1969.  

 

 

8.   Diagrams and photographs must be of high quality. Diagrams and lettering must be either 

    computer-designed or made using India ink (drafted). Photographs of diagrams are acceptable, but 

    photocopies are not.  

9.  Papers poorly produced or incorrectly formatted may not be included in the proceedings.
